Lost the fight

Emily has been fighting her afternoon nap.

Untill now - she lost the fight.

It was time for dinner, apples and chicken.

I came out of the kitchen and found her like this.

Girls Day

I took the day off work to get some work done on my car. 
It took less time than I thought, so we went to meet Dad at work for lunch.

Then on our way home I saw this park and we stopped.

It was a great park - We can't wait to go back.

This swing was AWESOME!!

 We had a BLAST!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Emily's first Easter Egg hunt with her cousins.

Her eggs were filled with Teddy Grams, Goldfish and Vanilla wafers.

She is ready to go!

I love my Easter egg!

She had to give each one a hug before she would put it in the basket.

That made for a long hunt. 

She was able to find 24 eggs

Missouri Botanical Garden

I had off work on Good Friday,

so Emily, Grammy and I spent the day at

The Missouri Botanical Garden.

We all loved the great weather, beautiful flowers

and wonderful time we spend together.

Oh and her glasses,

she thinks that is the way you are suppose to wear them.

She is too funny!

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny
